About The Role

The basic purpose of the job and its primary objectives

Working with the CSR Manager to implement the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Engagement strategy in line with the Firm’s objectives.

Supporting completion of projects on time and to budget through the adoption of efficient processes and administrative tasks such as typing, meeting minutes & agendas, financial reconciliation and event organisation.

Supporting the Firm to make a clear statement of how HF values and engages with its people, and the culture we wish to foster to enable everyone to achieve and sustain excellence.

Main Responsibilities

Corporate Social Responsibility

  • To maintain all records in relation to CSR and improve data collections processes working with other departments where required to achieve improvements, including but not limited to, monthly fundraising total, employee volunteering hours, mentoring hours, energy and carbon data and employability data and successes
  • Recording monthly charity incomings and outgoings including monthly cash counting and payment processing and the management of the 5050 club payroll giving scheme, monthly reconciliation with finance and running the monthly draw
  • To work closely with business development to ensure that our CSR activities are appropriately reflected in internal communications, ensuring a good understanding of CSR by all employees
  • To support external stakeholder relationships (including but not restricted to clients) and links to professional organisations acting as the day to day point of contact
  • To deliver presentations and training where required in relation to our CSR activities ensuring suitable levels of knowledge across the business
  • To support the launch and maintenance of an employee volunteering programme that acts as an engaging incentive for employees and a way to engage clients and suppliers

Engagement

  • Supporting the delivery of the strategic framework for Engagement, organising meetings, tracking meeting attendance, note taking, typing and support for departmental documents and meetings
  • To support the annual engagement survey and corresponding pulse surveys, working with the HR Business Partners to report results back to the business in a timely way
  • To support engagement across the business, assisting departments with training, access to information and best practise and ad hoc support for engagement activity and events

Corporate Social Responsibility & Engagement

  • Working closely with the internal communications and events team to deliver the annual Christmas party and other events including charity events, client events and the summer social
  • To create content and written materials for internal and external communications, assisting where required with award submissions, research projects and client and competitor monitoring and analysis
  • To attend all charity committee, green champions group, engagement committee and CSR group meetings in capacity as Secretary, ensuring the smooth and consistent running of each through correct processes and accurate documentation including managing membership, organising meetings, circulating minutes and agendas, note taking and providing information to the business as required
