The basic purpose of the job and its primary objectives:

The successful candidate would have the unique opportunity to be the primary point of contact for the firm’s digital marketing activities.  The Digital Marketing Apprentice would look after and have exposure to the following:

  • The firm’s social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.
  • E-shot building and broadcasting both internally and externally
  • Completing website amendments and structural changes.
  • Monitoring readership of all digital channels through Google Analytics and HootSuite.
  • Client relationship management
  • General digital marketing duties.

The Apprenticeship          

The Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship will be provided by The Growth Company who are one of the biggest training providers in the North West. You will attend college one day per week for face to face learning with the remainder of your time spent within the workplace. The course will be conducted via blended learning with a mix of face to face learning, portfolio building and online assessments.

Full training and support will be provided whilst in the workplace however the successful candidate would have ample opportunity to work independently and be creative within their role.

Progression

Upon completion of the Apprenticeship the successful candidate could go on to become a Digital Marketing Executive. There are further courses available such as the CIM Digital Marketing Diploma which the firm would support.

Personal Specification
 Person Specification

To be considered for this apprenticeship candidates will need either 3 A-levels A-C or equivalent, a relevant GNVQ or BTEC.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Have a good understanding of social media.
  • A keen interest in a career in marketing.
  • A strong eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to use initiative.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
