About The Role
This is a Full Time (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday position. 

The basic purpose of the job and its primary objectives:

  • To provide general administration support to fee-earners ensuring all our service level agreements (SLA’s) and management information (MI) deadlines are met.

Main responsibilities:

  • To undertake all administration duties as requested and be prepared to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
  • To be flexible and be able to adapt to any given business need that could include the following, and any other duties as required:
  • Processing and preparing new files
  • Closing and archiving files
  • Running MI updates and reports
  • Liaising with clients, courts and third parties by telephone and email
  • Managing inboxes and calendars
  • Printing, scanning and filing
  • Collating and preparing letters, documents and attachments for sending out
  • Handling daily post
  • Preparing bundles and court documents
  • General file administration
  • Ad-hoc admin support
  • To provide support to Fee Earners as and when required. 
  • To use all office equipment efficiently & competently.
  • To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client’s documentation and information in compliance with all DPA requirements.

Other responsibilities:

                In addition the job holder is required to perform other responsibilities assigned by the management as and when requested which is not exhaustive and may include working in other operational support teams, for example the call handling team.

Please note that we are looking for the ideal candidate to have a minimum of 1 years' previous administration experience within a legal environment OR a minimum of 2 years' experience in a non-legal professional services environment.
