About The Role

The basic purpose of the job and its primary objectives:

Drive forward data quality within the firm in line with compliance needs and data standards using a methodical approach and logical mindset. Improve data quality within the firms’ Case Management System. Provide MI on the issues arising from poor data input within the Case Management System and drive improvements through the identification of best practice

Main Responsibilities

  • to assist in ensuring that the integrity of the firms Case Management system is maintained for all entities, with data quality in line with compliance and data standards.
  • Ensure that the entity based database is efficient and free from duplication
  • Ensure that the data entries comply with the firm’s Data standards
  • Verify user changes to the database within agreed timeframes, communicating with users as needed
  • Record user errors for training purposes and feedback recommendations for improvements to the system
  • Monitor the data to ensure data integrity
  • Investigate incorrect data and correct or delete
  • Assist in the firms compliance, investigating risks and vulnerabilities
  • Assist data development by reporting scripting errors
  • Help plan and manage data access and controls
  • Formulate and document best practice procedures for data input and data entity management
  • Liase with all levels of the business to help resolve database integrity issues caused by poor data input quality
Other Responsibilities
  • Involvement in a wider range of ad hoc tasks and projects across IT and the business
  • Assist in the management and control of Data Quality generally
  • Provide support to other colleagues within IT and the business as and when required
