About The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Recoveries team for an Assistant to join their busy and growing team in the Manchester office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone starting out in their legal career or for individuals who are looking for a new challenge! Main responsibilities:

  • To assist Fee Earners with files in the production of standard documentation.
  • To undertake communication on the phone with third parties – this includes chasing payment from third party insurers.
  • Processing of cheques and loss forms.
  • Data inputting in the form of updating information on the case management system.
  • Chasing client statements and uninsured loss forms.
  • Drafting court documents and applications.
  • Providing general administrative duties to the team.

  • Professional and confident telephone manner – Essential

  • Previous experience gained in a similar legal assisting role  - Desirable but not essential as training on the job will be provided
