The Team
Investigations by Design (IBD), are a specialist provider of workplace investigations and due to expansion; have an exciting opportunity arise for a Case Investigator to join our dynamic and values-driven team.
We provide specialist independent investigation services to both public and private sector clients, working on high-profile, sensitive cases that require impartial and thorough investigation. Our cases range from disciplinary, and grievance matters to discrimination complaints, whistleblowing and Maintaining High Professional Standards.

What do I need?
You will ideally have at prior experience in a similar role however, we are keen to hear from individuals who may not have worked as a external investigator before but demonstrate a keen eye for employment law matters operating as a solicitor / paralegal or wider HR experience, as further training can be provided.
You will have the ability to follow internal processes, meticulous to detail, effective time management, positive to change and see things through to a conclusion. It’s essential that you’re a good communicator as you will be expected to provide impartial support to our clients and gather further information essential to the enquiry.
It is expected that you will hold a CIPD Level 5 (or higher) or legal background dealing with employment law matters.
What will you be doing?
Working as part of a small team on behalf of a Principal Investigator, you will conduct complex and sensitive case investigations across various public and private sectors. To provide impartial and independent support in disciplinary, grievance and whistleblowing matters, ensuring that investigations are conducted in accordance with legal frameworks and organisational policies.
